Do I have to be a Washington state resident to purchase marijuana?

No. If you are 21 or older, you are welcome with valid I.D.

How much can I purchase?

Recreational customers can purchase up to 28 grams of marijuana, 7 grams of concentrates, 16 ounces of solid edibles, and 72 ounces of liquid edibles.

You are not limited to just one category, and you may buy up to the limit in each category at the same time.

Can I purchase more if I have a legal medical marijuana card?

Medical customers may purchase up to 3 ounces of marijuana, 21 grams of concentrates, 48 ounces of solid edibles, and 216 ounces liquid edibles.

Just like with recreational purchases, you are not limited to just one category, and you may buy up to the limit in each category at the same time.

Where can I consume marijuana?

At a private location. It is illegal to consume marijuana in the view of the public.

Can I travel with the cannabis i purchase?

It’s against the law to cross state boundary lines with cannabis, even if you’re traveling from one recreationally legal state to another.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re going by plane, train, or automobile –– you still need to keep your stash in-state.
